Bio
Aleksandra Wojewska is a sowi:docs fellow of the Vienna Doctoral School of Social Sciences. In her PhD, she focuses on price-making in cobalt and lithium Global Production Networks (GPNs) and associated outcomes for mineral producer countries. She holds an MSc in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen and an MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Aberdeen. Prior to her position at the University of Vienna, she worked as a Junior Researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). She conducted extensive field work in several African and Asian countries (DRC, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Mongolia, Malaysia) in mining, forestry and agriculture sectors.
