Research Interests

Fahima Al Farabi completed by her Bachelors and Masters in Anthropology from University of Dhaka, which was followed by a career in teaching and research in the same discipline. She is currently a researcher working in the project ‘Youth activism and Fridays for Future’ within the Department of Development Studies. Her doctoral research centers on the youth climate activism in Bangladesh, focusing specifically on the visions, strategies of the activists working in country to shape and enact climate justice in the local as well as the global level, and the challenges they face in their climate action journey.
