• Since October 2013: Post-Doc (Development Sociology) at the Department of Development Studies, University Vienna.
• February 2011 – September 2013: Scientific Staff at the Center for Development Research (ZEFa) and the Bonner Asienzentrum (BAZ) at the University Bonn. Member ot the interdisziplinary Project WISDOM (Water-related Information System for the Sustainable Development of the Mekong Delta, Vietnam).
• October 2007 – January 2011: Doctoral Student at the WISDOM am Center for Development Research, Bonn. Graduation at the Zentrum für Entwicklungsforschung (ZEF), University Bonn.
• October 2000 – September 2007: Student of Sociology in Bamberg and the National University of Galway (Schwerpunkt Development Politics) and the University of  Bielefeld
